Victoria Hayward is a historian by training, publicly funded artist and author.

Her first novel, Deathworlder, was published by Black Library (Simon & Schuster) in 2024.

Her publication experience encompasses SFF novels, short stories, video games scripts, and academic articles. She has been published in independent magazines (Left Lion and Grimdark Magazine) and was included in reviewer Matt Cavanagh’s 2022 list of ‘British Women In Recent SF.’  She was an invited contributor to the 2021 Anthem Press anthology ‘Travel Writing in an Age of Global Quarantine.
